Born and raised in Ottawa, Subhir Uppal is a proud resident of Kitchissippi where he has lived with his wife and son for over a decade. With more than 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur in the real estate and construction industries & an having an MBA, he brings a deep understanding of the city’s growth, infrastructure, and community needs. He is also an ethics and technology instructor across professional associations.

Beyond business, Subhir is a passionate community advocate, known for his regular volunteer work and dedication to neighbourhood initiatives. He is especially committed to road safety (Director at Ottawa Safety Council) and building safer, more connected communities. His efforts have earned recognition, including Entrepreneur of the Year (ICOBC) and awards for volunteer work as a youth mentor with Junior Achievers from the Ottawa Network for Education (ONFE). In the past, he has served as a Director for BIA’s.
