CREA Leadership Summit

On April 13 and 14, The Canadian Real Estate Association hosted the CREA Leadership Summit and AGM here in Ottawa at the Westin Hotel. It was a great opportunity to connect with industry leaders across the country and the importance Realtors and the real estate industry play in the Canadian economy.

I was excited to hear about updates coming to the Realtor.ca platform, which are much overdo. There is no reason why Realtor.ca should not have near full market share of consumers researching to buy and sell real estate. The data is reliable and trustworthy at Realtor.ca, yet third parties are developing apps and tools that are connecting with consumers. Excited to see the new platform and the future of our industry adapt to real time pressures.
