Forum on Homelessness

Thank you to my alma mater, uOttawa, for hosting the 'Forum on Homelessness and Community-Engaged Research at the Heart of the City.'

This was a great roundtable discussion moderated by University of Ottawa’s president and vice-chancellor, Marie-Eve Sylvestre that brought together researchers, community and government leaders, and people with lived experience to spark informed conversations.

I am a believer that if all level of governments, non-profits and the private sector can eliminate silos, we can sincerely tackle the issue of social and affordable housing.

Great seeing municipal representation and other community players at this forum, and thank you the panel for answering my questions on how municipalities can play a major role with inclusive zoning on this subject.
