Successfull Parking Roundtable

I want to thank everyone for attending (and the dozens who sent their comments by email) the Paid Parking on Richmond and Wellington West Roundtable this week. In attendance we had local businesses, residents, employees, community stakeholders and customers.

In short- paid parking is impacting our community. Our local businesses are feeling measurable losses, employees are having to constantly 'shuffle' to find parking, residents are noticing increased traffic on side streets and customers are paying more.

We had mostly a positive and constructive discussion, and came up with some real actionable solutions that I will be submitting to the City.

I believe we live in one of the greatest neighbourhoods, and I always enjoy the opportunity to connect with our wonderful community.
