Westboro Region Food Bank
Donating to local food banks helps feed local hunger. The Westboro Region Food Bank (located in the All Saints Anglican Church) does amazing work in our community to help provide essentials to those in need.
This Holiday and Christmas season, Rick Bedard and I had the pleasure to meet with the amazing group of people that run the Westboro Region Food Bank, and we were happy to help any way we could.
I brought my 4-year-old son (he is getting so big so fast) to the charity drive (thanks to the Westboro Village BIA for promoting this), where he saw the the support from our generous community and leaders come together to help this cause.
The food bank will always have a special place in my heart. When I was 11-years-old, every weekend my mom would drop me off at the Gloucester Food Bank, where I volunteered to help pack and sort items. At a young age, I got to witness a passionate community come together and do wonderful things.
Community is very important to me, and local food banks are the foundation of a community.
